First Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) October 2019
Ede, The Netherlands.
This meeting was the launch of the project. We had the opportunity to meet our partners from all countries and the representatives of the advisory centers of the project and agree on all the practical details to develop and implement it successfully. This meeting was held at the Pallas Athene College in Ede, The Netherlands, as the main coordinating partner.
The meeting served as the platform for the project management, communication and to establish the tools for quality assessment throughout it. Another goal of the meeting was to ensure all partners schools were clear on the key project themes, distribution of workload and key performance indicators.
During our visit we had the opportunity to visit the Papendal Olympic Training Center, which is the national training center of the Netherlands, located in the Veluwe forests, 8 kilometers from Arnhem. In our case it was especially interesting because the mobility of the project that took place in Alicante had exercise and sport as its central theme.

Report from the students
MONDAY
On Monday, after spending our first night in Slovenia, we went to school for the first time. There they received us very well, with much joy and emotion. To our surprise, the students of Slovenia had prepared a performance for us, representing the Grease movie.
Another wonderful performance was that of the school band, personally it was very good.
After this, the presentations of each country began, which were introduced with a small performance of the students of the school.
Seeing the presentations was fun and interesting, since with these we learned some customs, data or celebrations of different cultures.Once finished, we had prepared a snack at school. When we finished the free time we went to a class to begin with the tests on the healthy habits of our schools or surroundings, in these also some informative videos about the schools of each country were presented. Once finished, we had prepared a snack at school. When we finished the free time we went to a class to begin with the tests on the healthy habits of our schools, in these also some informative videos about the schools of each country were presented. After commenting on the test results, we went to eat at the school canteen. When we finished eating, we returned to our host families' house, with them we learned customs of their place and some things typical of their culture. In the afternoon the host families took us to the city of Maribor, which was a beautiful place, full of lights that illuminated the streets of the city. We also visited a shopping center next to the place where we were, this was also full of Christmas decorations. It was a very beautiful and special afternoon, and in this we learned many interesting things that we did not know.
TUESDAY
On Tuesday, when we arrived at the school we attended a solfeo class of our host friends, it was very beautiful and we also listened to Christmas songs, which are some of my favorites. At the end of this class we went to a Mindfulness-session, it was very interesting and we learned aspects that can help us in our day to day. When we financed the session we went for our snack, which we had in the dining room. At the end of the snack time, we returned to class and attended an aromatherapy session, it was very relaxing and fun, in this we were taught that there are fragrances that can be used for different benefits. They also explained to us that the pure essences, collected in a bottle with a few mL can be made of hundreds of plants, which we found shocking, for the amount contained in the bottle. In this session they gave us a small inhaler that contained two fragrances, this gave off a different aroma. We had another rest before starting another activity, which in this case was relaxing, and they took us outside to listen to the sounds outside.
We also took a picture with all the students of the project, it was a fairly large group, but very welcoming. We ate at the school, like the day before and at the end we went back to the houses, with our hosts we visited a farm that belonged to the father and grandmother of one of the students there, it was very fun to be with the animals. In the afternoon they took us to the bowling alley, there we laughed and had a great time, we all played and took pictures to remember that fun moment, in the same place where the bowling was, played music, and one of the songs What they put was a typical Slovenia, the fathers and mothers of the families took us out to dance, we couldn't stop laughing. Upon leaving the premises, the host families took us to a pizzeria in the area, the pizza was delicious, and there we had a good time talking and getting to know each other more, which is important. It was one of the funniest and funniest days of the trip.
WEDNESDAY
On Wednesday, we left school at 8:00 a.m. First we went to see Predjama Castle. To be honest, it seemed to me that the castle was quite rebuilt, but still, we were quite impressed. It had very interesting rooms where they showed you furniture and utensils of the daily life of the inhabitants of the castle and the explanations were understood.
Then we went to see an exhibition related to the cave. It was also interesting, although a little more boring because it was not so interactive, but it was a useful introduction to later enter in the cave.
After eating, we enter the cave. It was the most incredible. I couldn't believe I was in a cave so big it seemed endless. In addition, animals called Humanfish live there, which I found very interesting and I researched more about them on the internet.
I also found interesting all the facilities inside the cave: a huge Christmas tree, a gift shop, a train with a huge tour... I had never seen anything similar.
THURSDAY:
On Thursday, before going to visit Ptuj, at 8:30 we had an exhibition about the hot springs. Then, around 9:30, we went to the town, it took us an hour or so to arrive. There, some students made a guided tour of the whole town, showing us everything that was more important and more interesting.
In my opinion, it has been one of the best villages I have ever seen. It had a fairly large river compared to what we usually see in Alicante and it was nice to see the age of the buildings when walking along the street
To end the morning, we went to see a hotel that in my opinion was quite luxurious, and we saw all its facilities, as they were related to the hot springs. Finally, we ate at the restaurant hotel, and once we finished we left. That afternoon, we went to the farm of Nives and saw many animals, such as cows, horses ... etc.
After visiting the farm, Nives' mother invited us to snack in her house and we had a great time. To end the day, we had a party from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. It was quite fun, and in turn sad, because we knew that the next day we would have to say goodbye to everyone.
FRIDAY:
On Friday, we arrived at school at 8:00 a.m and we were talking with our classmates during that week and at 8:30 a.m we started the wellbeing session we were speaking about eating well and sleep the necessary time, at 10:10 we had a snak in the school kitchen also in this morning we were preparing our presentation of what we did and what we learned on this week. Some groups did a vídeo with some photos and other groups did power points.
After finished all the presentations we evaluated all this week and we put everything we loved and what we didn’t like very much. And the teachers of Slovenia gave to all of us the certificates and some presents. Then at 13:15 we had a lunch in school.
We had a afternoon free and we watched some films and also spoke with our partner. We were at school at 17:30 because we took the bus to be at figaro musical. We had a great time until 21:00 when it was the time to take the bus and say goodbye to everyone. When we arrived to home we were very sad because we will never see them another time.
Second Mobility, LTTA Exercise and Sport
February 2020
Alicante, Spain.
This theme is about exploring the benefits of exercise and sport and more specifically the relationship between an active life style and academic performance and general wellbeing. It's no secret that physical activity is good for you, but do you know about all the ways that exercise can improve your health?
The aim of this LTTA is to promote an active lifestyle amomg pupils by providing high quality lessons in Physical Education, extra curricular sport activities and extra support for inactive students. It is known fact that young people at this age give less priority to sports and exercise so a varied range of exercise and sports at and around school is of great importance. One of the main objectives of this activity is to encourage schools to offer a wide and varied range of intermediate and after-school sports and exercise activities in collaboration with extracurricular sport activities and sport providers is part of (stimulating) exercise in and around the school.

FEBRUARY 2021
Report from the students:
Carla Mota/Ania Chaher/Andrea Fernández/Martín Camuñas/Martín Hernández/Paola López
Our school remains open despite the situation created by COVID 19, but we had never imagined the conditions in which we are studying and living now.
Masks, controls for everything, queues to enter and exit, small spaces for recreation, no contact, constant cleaning, an atmosphere of concern, family and friends or ourselves sick... etc. Those circumstances are making the scholar year very very hard for us and for the teachers.
Not being able to go out or have meetings with our friends, compulsory hours to return home and the feeling that it will never end.
The three days of the HILS virtual meeting have been a breath of fresh air for us. Break the daily routine, "meet" friends from other countries, do different jobs and do some very fun activities.
We have prepared a questionnaire about Corona, a presentation we made with “Genially”, worked on line in mixed groups with our partner mates, we had some funny workshops, a fantastic cooking class with a French Chef to make some healthy biscuits that we tried at home later, etc.
It has been a very fun experience thanks to the efforts of all the countries and we hope to be able to travel soon to meet our new friends.

Arriving Sunday 3th 2022
Monday April 4th 2022
Since we flew here yesterday, It’s not our first day in Siracusa. But it’s the day we’re meeting with everyone. People from The Netherlands, Slovenia, France, Italy and Portugal are also coming.
Italy, the host country, has done an incredible presentation with several dances and songs. It was really impressive and enjoyable.
As we were told, we did our presentation and listened to others. This was very entertaining as we got to know the different schools from each country.
After that, we were given our lunch and we had some time to talk to the new people.
Before we left, we played some interesting and fun games so that we could get to know each other.
Finally, we went to our corresponding hotels and at 19:50 we had some Italian food.
It has been a fantastic day. We’re very happy for being here and meeting all these people.
Tuesday April 5th 2022
On Tuesday we went to the school at Floridia, we did several activities about sports. At first we did a “competition of rock, paper scissors”, it was very funny, our classmate Martín won!! After that we worked with our groups, mixed groups of all nationalities which is quite interesting to know each other. We had to do two choreographies; in the first one we had to stretch, and on the second one, we had to imitate some sports of the Olympics Games and the other groups had to guess which sport we were imitating. We had lunch, and after we had the opportunity to listen to a presentation about pollution. And we left for Siracusa at 16:00 as always. And we had dinner together.
Thursday April 6th 2022
On Thursday we went to visit the protected sea area near Siracusa and the Maniace Castell in the city. In the protected area, we took a beautiful walk and it reminded us a lot of our area of Alicante, where there is also a natural protected area, by the sea in Santa Pola, where there are also salt flats and where it is possible to observe many species of birds that rest on their long migratory journeys. In the castle we learnt a lot about the history of Siracusa, and the views were beautiful.
We had lunch, and after that we went to the Ancient Greek Theater of Siracusa, an amazing place, it was beautiful.
Friday 8th April 2022
It’s our last day here and we are very sad since we probably won’t see each other again.
Today we went back to the Liceo Da Vinci in Floridia. We have to prepare a presentation with our groups. Each group has a different interesting subject.
After we had presented, we had a fantastic meal at school. Food was really nice.
When we got back to Siracusa we hung out with the friends we had made. And at dinner time, we had to say our last goodbye. It was devastating.
But we really had a great time during the week so it’s bittersweet.

In the afternoon we got ready and went to the barbecue organized by the school and then we went to the Hollywood party. The entire assembly hall was decorated with lights and platforms. We had a great time and it was a super full day.
FRIDAY 10: Closing ceremony / Farewell
Solange
Today was our last day here and, even though we were kind of sad, we knew that we were going to have a great time with the morning activities!
After going cycling to school, me and my host, Lydia, arrived to see all the other students writing something on a card; it was a "thank you" card for all the Erasmus team of teachers!
We wrote something as well, each of us had to write it in our own language, so the result was very diverse!
Later, we had to get on the bus so we could go to the sailing spot, I was very excited for it!
Less than an hour later, we arrived at the little harbor. I say little because it was in a lake and not the sea, but it was pretty impressive!
We didn’t have to wait much to get on a boat, a sailboat specifically! The sailor that guided us also taught us how to sail, and it was very fun! We got wet but it’s part of the experience!
Also, one French girl from our group knew how to sail already, so that was a huge advantage over the other boats!
After we were done sailing, we went to the picnic spot: a shore with grass where we set the picnic. Every host family brought snacks so we got to try a little bit of everything! It was a nice and relaxing time to talk and have some laughs with everyone before we had to say goodbye. I met a lot of new friends who were so funny and kind throughout the week; I really hope we can see each other again someday!
The picnic was over and we all went our separate ways. Lydia and I went home cycling and, when we got there, played a really entertaining board game! It was about a maze and having to get to different objects or elements of the board; the difficult part was that all the players could move the walls of the maze as they pleased, so I had to think my movements very carefully! Lydia ended up winning and I was not surprised, she was so good at that game!
Later that afternoon, we went with the other Spanish girls and some of their hosts to play laser tag. It was very fun but also very intense! My team, the blue team, won! I was sixth place and Lydia was first, she’s an expert at laser tag!
This day was very fun and also really emotional! This trip was an amazing experience and I recommend it to all the students in the world, there’s nothing that compares to the joy of meeting people that, even if they don’t speak the same language, understand you; I’m not only talking about understanding in terms of words, it’s assured that you will find someone
like you even if they live on the other side of the world, and that’s difficult when you don’t travel! This is an important experience and I’m glad that I got to live it, I would definitely do it again!

like you even if they live on the other side of the world, and that’s difficult when you don’t travel! This is an important experience and I’m glad that I got to live it, I would definitely do it again!
